Texas Modifies Lien Law Notarization Law, Clearing the Way for Construction IndustryOn June 15, 2021, Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed Senate Bill HB 2237, making several notable changes to lien laws in the state of Texas.

Per these new adjustments, notarization is no longer a requirement for lien waivers, providing much needed administrative relief to the construction industry in Texas.
